The purpose of the 2014 Conference on Contemporary Issues in Commerce Education in India (CICI 2014) is to bring together researchers, academicians and practitioners interested in contemporary issues in commerce education, both nationally and internationally.

Each of the area is given below but the list of sub-topics is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by these. Unlisted but related sub-topics including the International Perspective are also welcome.

1. Emerging Challenges of Commerce Education
2. The Role of Information Technology in Commerce Education
3. Obstacles in the Growth of Commerce Education in India and Its Remedial Measures
4. The Role of Open and Distance Learning in Commerce Education
5. Vocationalization of Commerce Education
6. Restructuring of Commerce Education in view of Global Changes
7. Ethics and Values in Commerce Education
8. Commerce Education Vs Management Education
The above list of sub-themes is suggestive and not conclusive. Therefore the participants are welcome to deliberate upon the other sub-areas, like how to revitalizecommerce education, E-commerce, M-commerce etc., if they so wish.

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference by CICI and IJTEMT Press, which will be included in the IJTEMT and IAAIRS Digital Library, and the publisher will send the proceedings to be reviewed by the Ei Compendex, ISI Proceeding and other major indexing services. The best six papers will be published in International Journal of Trends in Economics Management & Technology (IJTEMT) with IF: 1.41 and ICV 6.41.
