i. Doctoral dissertation:
College of Arts and Sciences, Economics School, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah. Supervisor: Professor Mohd. Zaini Abdul Karim.
  a Title: Banking efficiency in developing countries.
  b Measure the cost and profit efficiency of the commercial banks in the selected developing countries in Asia, Middle East and North Africa, and Africa region.
  c Determine the bank-specific factors and macroeconomics variables that influence the bank efficiency of the commercial banks for each region.
  d Method used in analysis: Standard translog specification, Fourier Flexible functional form, Data Envelopment Analysis, and Tobit regression.
